Sacramento Zoo with the Nephews

Last Saturday, Aaron and I watched our nephews Zachary and Jared while Phil and Becca went to a wedding. We took them to the Sacramento Zoo and for ice cream after. It was actually easier than I thought it would be. No meltdowns!

Isn't he so cute? I love my Zackie!

Jared really liked the wooden tiger.

Phil and Bec forgot the stroller but it was all good because we rented this cool jeep for the kids to ride in. It was very convenient and the kids loved it!

Zack really wanted to see some elephants but I guess those aren't at the Sac Zoo. Lame! He did love the Reptile house though. So did Jared!

Such cute pictures! Thanks for taking the boys to the zoo. They loved it and it was so nice to have a quiet, peaceful morning in the temple!

The Happy Couple

Aaron and I were marrried October of 2004. We met on a houseboat of a mutual friend. I approached him and said, "Nice farmer's tan." He said, "I'd rather have a farmer's tan than be white all over." (Referring to my BYU-Idaho whiter-than-white skin). We laughed and I knew that he was someone I wanted to date because he had an awesome sense of humor. Of course I was attracted to him but for me, having a sense of humor was so important to me in a marriage because it helps you to get through life. At the end of the day, I want more than a pretty face. And life is good. Aaron and I get along really well and enjoy spending time together. We enjoy traveling, hiking, biking, movies, and going out with friends.
